A deputy sheriff's cruiser was involved in an accident in East Moriches early Saturday morning.

Investigators say the deputy pulled over a driver for allegedly driving while intoxicated on the Route 111 overpass on Sunrise Highway in East Moriches this morning.

That's when officials say another driver who had fallen asleep at the wheel rammed both vehicles on the side of the road.
