CENTRAL ISLIP - A pair of Central Islip children were laid to rest today after drowning in a neighbor's pool.

Sharon and Ralph Knowles, ages 7 and 5, were discovered in the pool this past Sunday. Authorities say the children sneaked into the backyard through a fence bordering the two properties.

The neighbor has since been cited for having improper decking around the pool and failing to properly maintain the fencing.
