MONTAUK - A massive Fourth of July party in Montauk will go on as planned.

Nearly 4,000 people are expected to attend the "Shark Attack" party Friday and Saturday at the Montauk Yacht Club.

The party's permit was initially revoked due to parking issues, but the East Hampton Town Board voted in a special meeting to allow party goers to park in a large field on Montauk Highway in Amagansett.

The move is expected to clear up traffic in Montauk during the party.
