HICKSVILLE - Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) service has been restored both ways between Mineola and Hicksville on the Ronkonkoma and Port Jefferson lines.

LIRR officials say a broken LIPA utility pole was leaning on electrical lines west of the Hicksville station, suspending service.
