NEW JERSEY - The massive Jersey Shore boardwalk fire was an accident, according to officials.

An ABC report says the blaze may have been caused by an electrical problem.

Investigators have determined the fire was not intentionally set.

Dozens of businesses in Seaside Park and Seaside Heights were destroyed in last week's fire.

The estimated cost of damage is $5 to $10 million.

Gov. Chris Christie says the federal government may pick up the tab with your tax dollars.
