Search for missing Bethpage boater, Vincent Tangorra, suspended

Tangorra's family says the 56-year old was traveling to South Carolina to dock his boat for the winter, but experienced some engine trouble in Maryland

BETHPAGE - The search for a missing Bethpage boater has been suspended, but his family is not giving up hope he will come home safely.

Vincent Tangorra's family says he was an experienced boater.

They say the 56-year old was traveling to South Carolina to dock his boat for the winter, but experienced some engine trouble in Maryland and headed back north.

On Friday Tangorra's Jet Ski was found in the Cape May area.

Tangorra's boat was found near New Jersey, but so far there's been no sign of the Bethpage man.
