FIRE ISLAND - The search for a missing boater off Fire Island continued Wednesday.

The Coast Guard says a 21-foot fishing boat capsized in the Fire Island Inlet around 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say a 36-year-old Wyandanch man and a 30-year-old Amityville man were rescued.

A 50-year-old man from Babylon has not yet been found. Suffolk officials identified the missing boater as Roberto Vasquez.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the missing boater is asked to contact the Coast Guard Sector Long Island Sound Command Center at 203-468-4401.
