JONES BEACH - Rescue teams returned to Jones Beach to search for a missing Nassau County dad who vanished on Saturday. Raymond Roth, 47, of Massapequa, was last seen at Jones Beach with his son when he decided to go for a swim. Police say Roth may have gone into the water just east of Field 6, which is an area not protected by lifeguards.

Roth's son told police he didn't see his dad go under.

During the weekend search it was all hands on deck as helicopters searched from the air.

Nassau County, State Park Marine Units and the U.S. Coast Guard searched from the shore.

Roth's family told police he was an avid swimmer.
