LINDENHURST - The boiling temperatures have fans and air conditioners working overtime all across Long Island, except in those homes unlucky enough to lose power.
Crews from the Long Island Power Authority were out today to tackle scattered outages. Some 2,600 customers lost power today.
In Lindenhurst, some residents complained about the poor response from LIPA. Some said they'd been without power since yesterday.
