PHILADELPHIA - Supporters of former Democratic presidential candidate and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders continued their protests Wednesday outside Philadelphia City Hall amid Day 3 of the Democratic National Convention.

The event was organized by a group called Black Men for Bernie, lead by Bruce Carter of Texas. Green Party presumptive presidential nominee Jill Stein was also at the event and addressed the crowd, which could be heard chanting, "Jill not Hill."

A number of those at the event said they would either support Stein or someone else, but definitely not Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. They still maintained their loyalty to Sanders.

One attendee, Paula Iasella of New Hampshire, said she was leaving the Democratic Party after 42 years of being a registered voter.

Susie Mizelle, a mother of three from Philadelphia, is a Sanders supporter who said she feels the Democratic Party rigged its presidential primary to ensure that Clinton won the nomination. She said she de-registered from the party last week and is now an unaffiliated voter.

The Wells Fargo Arena, where the DNC is held, is 7 miles south of City Hall.
