ISLIP TERRACE - Police have arrested a man and a woman in connection to a string of nail salon holdups across Long Island.

Suffolk police say the robbery spree including nail salons in Islip, Islip Terrace, East Islip and Copiague from Dec. 13 through New Year's Eve.

Cops say the suspects are also linked to the nail salon holdups in Valley Stream, Franklin Square, Wantagh and New Hyde Park from Dec. 23 through this past Monday.

Officials have identified the suspects as Salvatore Scimeca and Elisa Sandbery, both from Islip Terrace.
