Safe full of money, $100K in cellphones stolen from store

Police are trying to track down the two men who pulled off a heist at a cellphone store in Hicksville.

Detectives say the men broke into the T-Mobile store on South Oyster Bay Road on Thursday.

HICKSVILLE - Police are trying to track down the two men who pulled off a heist at a cellphone store in Hicksville.

Detectives say the men broke into the T-Mobile store on South Broadway on Thursday. Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspects.

Police say they made off with more than $100,000 worth of cellphones, as well as a safe full of money.

Anyone with information on the crime is being urged to call Nassau Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
