ROOSEVELT - A Roosevelt man will be sentenced today for the murder of his girlfriend's mother.

Antonio Christian is facing a maximum sentence of life without parole. 

Christian was convicted in the 2013 beating death of Saundra Simonee.

Simonee was killed with a hammer in East Norwich and then her body was dumped in Bay Shore. 

Christian's girlfriend, Shatura Simonee, pleaded guilty to not helping her mother or reporting the crime.
