THE BRONX - Tonight was a big night for Patchogue-Medford's own Marcus Stroman.

The Toronto Blue Jays rookie is pitching against the Yankees' Masahiro Tanaka.

Stroman, 23, is a former Patchogue-Medford High School star and is now a starting pitcher for the Blue Jays. He joined the team's rotation just three weeks ago.

Stroman was pulled in the fourth inning. He gave up two runs.
