Rohan Kahn, of Levittown, arraigned on attempted murder charges after standoff

LEVITTOWN - A Levittown tenant faced a judge Wednesday and was charged with the attempted murder of his landlord.

Police say Rohan Kahn, 58, fired shots at his landlord in a dispute over rent at a home on Carter Lane.

The landlord was injured by shattered glass and a woman in a passing car was hurt by gunfire.

Kahn ran into the house and finally came out after a 2 1/2 hour standoff. 

The Island Trees Schools was locked down during the standoff.
