COMMACK - A man accused of driving drunk into a bus full of kids will face a judge today.

Police say sixth-graders from the Three Village School District were on a field trip yesterday when Robert Slavonik, 44, hit their bus on Main Street in Smithtown.

Authorities tracked down Slavonik in his Commack driveway, where they gave him sobriety and Breathalyzer tests. They arrested him on charges of DWI and leaving the scene of a crash.

None of the 23 kids on the bus were hurt.
