Road work to begin on Hamptons Route 27
HAMPTONS - Officials are warning residents about road work that is set to begin on Route 27 in the Hamptons Thursday.
The state says it will be repaving Route 27 from County Road 39 in Water Mill to Stephen Hands Path in East Hampton.
Work will take place during the off-peak hours and lanes will be shifted instead of closed.

The road work is set to be suspended between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
