RIVERSIDE - A plan to fix up a Suffolk traffic circle will now start sooner than anticipated.

Suffolk County had previously delayed a $4 million revitalization to the Riverside Traffic Circle until 2018.

The plan is to widen the circle and make it a two-lane oval shape. 

Suffolk officials have now voted and approved moving the project from 2018 to 2016.
