RIVERHEAD - A Riverhead woman has been sentenced to 25 years to life in prison for murdering a high school homecoming queen in a jealous rage. Kalila Taylor, 35, was accused of stabbing Curtisha Morning more than 90 times back in 1996. Prosecutors say Taylor killed the teen because she thought her boyfriend was interested in Morning.

Taylor's first murder conviction was tossed out on a technicality.

Taylor was convicted a second time last month.
