WOODBURY - Long Island?s most notorious serial killer says the bodies at Gilgo Beach are not his victims. When Rifkin was arrested in 1993, he confessed to the killing of 17 women. Four of the bodies were never found. Rifkin tells Newsday that he has nothing to do with the unidentified remains left along Ocean Parkway. The former East Meadow man admits he has been following the latest case. Rifkin even has a theory, saying the killer could be someone like a clam fisherman who wouldn?t be noticed carrying burlap bags.
