SYOSSET - Super Bowl 50 is touching down this weekend, and some Long Islanders have been busy preparing for the big game.

No Super Bowl is complete without pizza says the staff at Phil's Pizzeria & Restaurant in Syosset, which is preparing for the high demand on game day with pizza, appetizers and wings.

It's a similar scene at the Main Event in Plainview, where you'll need to reserve a table for the game.

As of Friday night, Woodbury Sports in Woodbury was nearly sold out of Panthers and Broncos jerseys. Regardless of the teams playing in the Super Bowl, store workers say they're bound to quickly run out.
