WOODBURY - Officials say by the end of today, Long Islanders may know who Republicans want to become Suffolk's new county executive.

Last week, Republicans held a meeting in Holtsville and could not decide who had the best shot of winning the county's top spot.

County Treasurer Angie Carpenter, Assemblyman Mike Fitzpatrick and Commissioner of Jurors Mike O'Donahoe have not received widespread support.
