Report: Robinson Cano signs deal with Mariners

The Yankees refused to give in to Cano's nine-year, $252 million request with a $28 million vesting option.

BRONX - ESPN is reporting that Robinson Cano and the Mariners have reached a deal to send the second baseman to Seattle.

It is reportedly a 10-year deal worth $240 million.

The Yankees had been offering Robbie $160 million over seven years.
