HICKSVILLE - The Long Island Rail Road is experiencing 20-minute delays between Jamaica and Hicksville due to an unauthorized person on the tracks.

There are reports someone may have been hit by an LIRR train at the Hicksville station.

The 8:31 a.m. train from Ronkonkoma due to arrive at Penn Station at 9:56 a.m. was canceled at Ronkonkoma due to the incident.

Customers will be accommodated by another train to their destination.
