FLORAL PARK - As today marks the second anniversary of the deadly wrong-way crash on the Taconic State Parkway, it has been revealed that two new lawsuits have been filed in the case.

Daniel Schuler, the husband of Diane Schuler, the driver in the crash that took the lives of eight people, is suing the state and his brother-in-law, Warren Hance, according to the New York Post.

Schuler's husband claims the highway was poorly designed, allowing her to drive straight into traffic. Daniel Schuler also blames Hance because he owned the van his wife was driving, which allegedly makes him "vicariously liable."

Police insist Diane Schuler, of West Babylon, was drunk and high when she killed herself, her daughter and her brother's three young daughters. Three men from upstate New York were also killed in the crash.

Last night, HBO aired a new documentary on the wrong-way crash.
