RONKONKOMA - A new Government Accountability Office report claims that there has been an increase in misconduct among TSA employees.

The report shows that there were more than 9,000 cases of misconduct, or a 26 percent increase, at 450 airports nationwide between 2010 and 2012.

The TSA agents allegedly involved are being accused of sleeping on the job, skipping work, stealing from passengers, being drunk or high on the job and taking bribes.

The report's findings were made public at a joint hearing of two House of Representatives Homeland Security subcommittees on Wednesday in Washington.
