HEMPSTEAD - A Lakeview man is accused of damaging his girlfriend's home after setting her clothes on fire in her driveway.

Investigators say Ramell Cooper went to Stowe Place in Hempstead yesterday and poured gasoline on his girlfriend's clothes before setting them on fire.

Authorities say the flames caused damage to her home. There were no injuries.

Cooper was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment and arson.
