Ramel McClinton, Frederick Johnston face charges for alleged drug transaction in West Babylon

Two men are under arrest for conducting a drug deal near a school in West Babylon. According to police, Ramel McClinton, 19, and Frederick Johnston,

WEST BABYLON - Two men are under arrest for conducting a drug deal near a school in West Babylon.

According to police, Ramel McClinton, 19, and Frederick Johnston, 46, were involved in a hand-to-hand drug transaction.

Police say the transaction occurred at a boarded-up home near West Babylon Junior High School.

McClinton was arraigned on charges of criminal sale and possession of drugs. Johnston is also facing charges.

Detectives ask anyone who may have witnessed the incident to call them at 631-854-8152.
