RONKONKOMA - Officials say a raccoon was stuck on top of a telephone pole with its head stuck in a peanut butter jar.

The furry creature got a lot of attention in Ronkonkoma yesterday after the kids in the neighborhood gave it the name "Skippy."

Residents say they have seen the raccoon with the same jar stuck on its head for almost a month. Some are not sure how he survived.

Skippy was saved by the "guardians of rescue," and LIPA.
