QUEENS VILLAGE - An NYPD detective from Massapequa was honored with a street renaming Friday.

The intersection of 222nd Street and 92nd Road in Queens Village was renamed "Detective 1st Grade Brian Moore Way."

Moore, 25, died after being shot in the face while questioning a suspect in May.

The intersection is where Moore was stationed at the 105th Precinct.

Demetrius Blackwell is facing murder charges in Moore's shooting death.
