SELDEN - A Selden man who suffered a traumatic brain injury after being struck by a car can once again move his limbs with the help of a rehabilitation machine.

Andrew Rosa, a 22-year-old former BMX biker and snowboarder, can't talk or walk, but the Quadriciser device allowed him to move his arms and legs simultaneously for the first time since 2010.

Multiple donors contributed to purchase Rosa the $19,000 in-home rehabilitation machine, including a $6,000 GoFundMe campaign, an East Meadow law firm and the Marty Lyons Foundation.

Rosa's family hopes that the machine will eventually help him stand, walk and speak once again.
