WOODBURY - The pit bull puppy who was severely wounded when he was tossed from a moving car in Brentwood is continuing his miraculous recovery.

A video was posted on YouTube today by the vet who has nursed the dog, named Joey, back to health. The clip shows Joey walking on his own, even though the veterinarian once feared he'd never walk again.

The vet says Joey is currently in foster care and will be available for adoption next month.

Police and SCPA officials still have not had any luck in tracking down the person who threw Joey out near the Pilgrim State Psych Center last month.Puppy making progress after being tossed from moving car$25K offered for info about puppy thrown from carReward upped for info leading to person who threw puppy from car
