MINEOLA - PSEG Long Island is reporting scattered outages across Long Island as the snowstorm continues to move through the region.

PSEG says there may be fewer outages than with LIPA because PSEG trims tree limbs at a wider clearance from power lines.

However, freezing snow and gusty winds can increase the chance of downed wires.

To report an outage or downed wire, call 1-800-490-0075 or text the word "OUT" to 773454.
