WOODBURY - Officials say PSEG is getting ready to take control and phase out LIPA.

The New Jersey based utility will start putting its logo on LIPA trucks and bills, according to Newsday.

Officials say the rates will freeze for two years.

A new Department of Public Service says it will be keeping a watchful eye on the utility.

The LIPA overhaul was approved by state lawmakers just before the session ended last month.
