NEW YORK - A coalition of over 100 interfaith, nonprofit and governmental organizations rallied in Manhattan today against planned congressional hearings on Muslims' role in homegrown terrorism.

Rep. Peter King (R-Seaford) says there's reason to hold the hearings because al-Qaida terrorists are targeting young Muslims in the U.S. and radicalization poses a real threat to the country's security.

King is expected to hold the first hearing Thursday.
