Prosecutors: W. Babylon woman stole from employer
WEST BABYLON - A West Babylon woman is accused of stealing more than $316,000 from her Great Neck employer.
Prosecutors say 48-year-old Onesta Reyes used her position as bookkeeper to inflate her salary, create fake employees and reimburse herself for phony expenses. They say she used the cash to fund clothing, shoes and jewelry.
Reyes faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
