WOODBURY - Some Long Islanders may be consulting their insurance agents after yesterday's summer storm.

At the height of the storm, over 4,000 people lost power in the towns of Oyster Bay, North Hempstead, Hempstead and Huntington.

Many say they saw hail the size of golf balls in Glen Cove and Oyster Bay. And a tree limb took out an above-ground pool in Northport.

The storm caused problems for train commuters as well. A power outage trapped Amtrak passengers on a Harrisburg, Pennsylvania train to Penn Station. They were trapped without food or air conditioning for five hours.

The storm was even deadly in Montgomery County, Maryland where a 79-year-old man was killed when he hit a pole and live wires fell on his car.
