Police: Westbury man phoned in bomb threat to NUMC

Police say a Westbury man is facing charges for calling in a fake bomb threat. Investigators say they arrested Marc Gathchalian after he called 911

WOODBURY - Police say a Westbury man is facing charges for calling in a fake bomb threat. Investigators say they arrested Marc Gathchalian after he called 911 from a 7-Eleven on Hempstead Turnpike. Gathchalian allegedly told police he put a bomb inside the convenience store and another one at Nassau University Medical Center. Authorities searched both locations and came up empty-handed. Gathchalian is facing two counts of falsely reporting an incident.
