ISLIP - Police are asking the public's help in finding the thief who swiped donations for at-risk children from a Suffolk store. 

Police say the man took the jar from the counter at The Nook and Cranny Store on Main Street in Islip in April.

According to police, the $75 in the jar was supposed to go toward the Marcie Mazzola Foundation, which helps at-risk kids.
