MASTIC BEACH - A teen is accused of setting his classmate's hair on fire.

Authorities say the incident happened at William Paca Middle School in the William Floyd School District Friday.

Police say a 13 year-old boy lit a 14-year-old girl's hair on fire.

They say a teacher put out the flames and the girl declined medical attention.

Authorities say the boy was arrested.
