FREEPORT - Police say a young girl getting off her school bus in Freeport was robbed by a man with a knife. 

According to police, the ninth-grader got off the bus on Monday and began walking home on Southside Avenue. That is when police say a man with a knife demanded the 14-year-old's gold necklace and forced it off her neck.
