A woman walked into the Riverhead Police Department with a stab wound, officials say. (March 23, 2014 6:17 PM)

A Riverhead woman is accused of attacking another woman with a knife.

According to Riverhead police, the 33-year-old victim ran into their police station with a knife wound to the hand on Saturday night. She told officers that she was attacked at the River Pointe Apartments nearby, on East Main Street.

Police say they eventually arrested Tasheeya Williams for the crime.
