MINEOLA - Police are linking a suspected serial robber to yet another crime.

Authorities say an armed suspect entered a Citgo gas station on the corner of Jericho Turnpike and Roslyn Road at around 4 a.m. Sunday. They say he got away with $300 and cigarettes.

Officials say they believe the same armed suspect hit six stores, most of them gas stations, on Thursday and Friday last week.

Surveillance footage of the suspect shows a man described as black or Hispanic with a slim build. Authorities believe he is 5 foot 8 inches tall and 25-30 years old.

Anyone with information about the recent rash of robberies is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
