Becker is scheduled to be arraigned at First

Becker is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip today.

HAUPPAUGE - Police say they arrested a woman who encouraged her 13-year-old son, 15-year-old daughter and another 15-year-old boy to shoot out the windows of parked cars with a BB gun she purchased for them.

Susan Becker, of East Northport, was charged with 10 counts of criminal mischief and 11 counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

The Fourth Precinct had been investigating more than 60 incidents of car windows being shot out in Islandia, Hauppauge and Commack over the past two weeks.

It wasn't just cars that were hit. A Hauppauge resident tells News 12 Long Island that she found a pellet lodged in a dining room window at the front of her home.

Becker, 43, refused to answer reporters' questions outside a Central Islip courtroom today. She is due back in court on April 23.
