Police: Suffolk man impersonated federal agent, arrested teen

SELDEN - Police have arrested a man they say impersonated an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent.

Police say David Bradley, of Port Jefferson Station, dressed as an ICE agent, with a gun, bullet-proof vest, badge and emergency lights on his SUV.

Investigators say Bradley pulled over a 19-year-old man at Woodhull Avenue and Route 347 on Sunday. They say that Bradley arrested the teen before eventually dropping the teen off at his home where the victim called police.

Neighbors say Bradley, an insurance agent, had been acting strange in recent weeks, walking around the neighborhood with a badge and gun.

Bradley is charged with unlawful imprisonment and criminal impersonation. He is expected to be arraigned in court tomorrow.
