They say the suspect is responsible for robbing 11 businesses since March 1 and that he strikes the same way each time.

Detective Lt. Richard LeBrun says the robbery spree stretches 16 miles long, from Oceanside to Massapequa.

According to police, the latest attack occurred at a Subway store in New Hyde Park on Monday. They say surveillance video shows the man before he robbed the restaurant shortly before 10 a.m.

LeBrun said the latest incident is the first time the suspect has robbed during the day.
