HEMPSTEAD - Police say a human head was found in Hempstead Thursday night.

The head was discovered a week after a headless body and two arms appeared in separate locations.

The medical examiner is investigating whether all of the body parts belong to a missing Brooklyn mom.

Residents found the head in a bag in the bushes on Boylston Street.

Earlier this month, a body was found in Bay Shore and then two days later an arm was discovered in Hempstead. A second arm was found the next day.

Police are trying to determine if the victim is Chinelle Browne, of Brooklyn, who was reported missing July 8.

A Newsday source says a person of interest in the case has homes in Brooklyn and Suffolk County, and has been in police sights since the beginning of the investigation.
