Police are searching for a suspect who grabbed a teenager in Elwood Tuesday. News 12 Long Island has obtained video of the 13-year-old girl moments

ELWOOD - Police are searching for a suspect who grabbed a teenager in Elwood Tuesday. News 12 Long Island has obtained video of the 13-year-old girl moments after she fought off the stranger. Neighbor Rodney Bordeaux recorded the incident on his home surveillance camera. In the video, the girl can be seen running from her attacker down the street. As News 12 Long Island has reported, a stranger grabbed the teen on Delamere Street as she walked to the bus stop. Police say the teen punched the man and that he got away. The wooded shortcut where the incident happened will be cleared out and adorned with 'No Trespassing' signs, officials say. Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
