NORTH MASSAPEQUA - Police say a school bus driver is accused of dealing heroin.

According to police, Maldane Cockett was arrested in North Massapequa on Monday night.

Detectives say the 26-year-old sold heroin to someone on the corner of North Broadway and North Beech Street.

The Copiague man is a bus driver for Educational Bus Transportation.

The company says Cockett has been pulled from service.

Police say it doesn't look like he was dealing the drugs on the school bus.
