Police say the 43-year-old victim gambled and that robbery was a motive. "Mr. Granados was known to carry a substantial amount of cash," said Det. Capt. John Azzata.
The victim's brother said he heard the gunman demand money from Granados as he watched from the window.
Granados was a married father of two from El Salvador who worked seven days a week as a painter.
